 An
Expressive Arts Workshop is designed
in an atmosphere of trust so that the participant can feel free to express
themselves. I often hear people say, “ but I am not an artist, or
creative.”
Actually everyone is creative, we are born to create and at my studio I
make sure that when you take a workshop you are here to just play and
express your own individual creative self. We do not judge or criticize
just create! Once we let go of our inhibitions regarding creativity we
can really bloom! Many people have said to me that they did not know what
happened but they felt so inspired after one of my workshops. And I say
to them that is because you let go and trusted the process! In our world
of uncertainty and chaos today it is such a joy to offer these fun and
insightful workshops in my studio which is filled with peace and joy!
Materials are included in most of the workshops and NO prior experience
is needed. The expressive arts are about the creative process not the
product, but you will be surprised to discover just how creative you
really are when you come and play at Alchemy Arts.

Mask Making
In this workshop you make a mask from your own image. It is a discovery
process as the mask is then decorated and your new story emerges.
Creating
Sacred Spaces
This is an instructive process which includes a guided meditation, music
and ideas on how and why we need sacred spaces wherever we can create
them.
Visual
Journaling
Journaling is a great way to start the creative process in this workshop
you will be inspired to make a journal and start writing!
 Dream
Works
Our dreams are keys to understanding the connectedness in all things.
They help open us to imagination and understanding.
Letting Go
Everyone has “stuff” that we need to let go of. This workshop makes it
easy to take one thing that may be holding you back and kiss it goodbye!
Painting
from the Source
If you never have painted or have always painted you will love this
format. It is painting without a plan except the one that is already
within you! Explore yourself through listening to the Source and seeing
what happens when you just PAINT from that Source!]
Running with
Scissors (not literally)
Collage is the key to this workshop. Cutting, collecting, gluing,
painting, and writing are all included. Often when people cannot express
themselves in other modalities collage is a way to open the door to
creativity.
In
addition to these workshops, Roberta teaches one on one or group Art
Workshops in abstract painting with texture and beginning fused glass.
Each
workshop is unique and each individual will awaken that creative spirit
that is within every Soul. |
